Strommen Group is contributing to the Hestur project in Kista, Stockholm, by supplying curtain wall elements. This residential project, featuring 220 rental units and student accommodations, has achieved a 36% lower carbon footprint compared to similar constructions, largely due to the use of climate-optimized prefabricated concrete and strategic product choices. The project stands out for its innovative approach to sustainability, reflecting a concerted effort to develop construction methods that significantly reduce carbon emissions.

The Hestur quarter, designed by Kod arkitekter, features three buildings each with unique heights and shapes, giving them distinctive characters.  The project has earned the Miljöbyggnad Silver certification, a Swedish standard that evaluates energy use, indoor environment, and material choices to ensure a lower environmental impact and healthier living conditions.
